Faith, Hope, Love
Grace is not a mere teaching or doctrine. Grace is not a topic or subject matter. Grace is a person, and His name is Jesus! You can have a relationship with a person. God is not interested in only obedience and submission. He is a God of love and longs to have an intimate relationship with you. That is why He sent His Son Jesus to die a cruel death on the cross and pay the full debt of our sins with His own life. This act of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was a deliberate step to bring about relationship -- as it says in 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, He came to reconcile sinful man with a holy God.
Grace means the work is finished. We are now under the new covenant of grace and God has already forgiven us for all our sins. If you are wondering, "How can I be fully assured that all my sins have already been forgiven?" that is a good question. But notice that after Jesus offered His life as a sacrifice and payment for all our sins, He was "seated" at the Father's right hand. Ephesians 1:20
We must get back to what "grace" is all about! In order for us to live the Christian life the way God intended, it's vital for us to understand the message of Jesus.
COME AND CELEBRATE with us how God, through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, rescued humanity!
